Vacation In Florida
Fun in Florida
We all work hard at the office, but we
also need to unwind every now and then.
You know where I'm coming from. No matter
how stressful the day or how dreary things
get in the rest of the world, it's always
a relief to get back home and collapse in
your wife's arms for a well deserved hug,
and to grab your kids and toss the
adorable little rugrats in the air to make
them giggle.
Well, taking this a step further, we
all need vacations, and these are perfect
opportunities to bond with your wife and
kids, and make up for all the lost time
you spent burning the midnight oil on
those projects at work. one of the best
places to check out for your family, no
matter your kid's age range and interests,
is the state of Florida. Here are a few
hot spots down there you'll definitely
want to take the family the next time you
take a vacation.
Disneyland - well, duh! Everyone
knows about Disneyland. Odds are you went
there in your youth too, and your kids
will love it there! And if you never went
there as a kid, well, now's a good time to
catch up on lost time and go back to
little-kid mode with your own bunch of
tiny little troopers, isn't it? With 4
main theme parks and a lot of sights and
events to offer at almost all hours of the
day, Disneyland ranks as THE top family
vacaton spot in the world. It's
recommended that you check out the tour
plans offered so you can strategically
plot where to go and see all the
sights.
Cocoa Beach - just in case one
of your kids is a teenage surfer
duuuuuude!, this is definitely the place
to go. It's Florida's most famous "surf
city", and surfers around the world head
here regularly. The waves are moderately
challenging in some areas, gentle in
others, and there are regular beaches
where the rest of the family can just hang
out to sunbathe and play in the sand.
Also, Sebastian Inlet is located just
south of Cocoa beach. This inlet is
renowned the world over for having the
most consistent surf and the largest
crowds. Competitions are held here
regularly, and if your kids are passionate
about surfing, they'll most likely know
about this place.
Dry Tortugas National Park -
this little coral island offers some of
the best snorkeling in the world. It
offers some of the most colorful marine
life around, set in beautiful unspoiled
coral formations. There is also a 200 foot
shipwreck called the Windjammer that is
home to thousands of corals and schools of
fish. If your kids are too young to
snorkel, there are also glass bottom boat
rentals that will allow your family to
view the beauty of the marine life here
without having to worry about getting
wet.

Florida" information continued
....
Crystal River and West Palm
Beach - kids love animals.
Heck, most adults do too (unless
I'm a still a kid and just never
noticed that I grew taller), and
these two places offer the
opportunity to view two of the
more adorable aquatic animals
around.
Crystal river is home to the
manatees, which congregate there
between November through April
every year. There are, of course,
strict laws prohibiting harassing
the manatees, but would you
really want to pick on a ten foot
long, 1000 pound animal, no
matter how friendly it is?
West Palm Beach, on the other
hand, is home to a drift current
that allows divers to run with
turles. Remember the surfer
turtles from the movie Finding
Nemo? You get the picture.
